The Gingerbread House, Key West, FL

It was an honor and privilege to work on this gorgeous home. The historical details were amazing and not to be ignored. I met with the previous architect from the last renovation in 1993. Even he was amazed by the transformation! He informed me that the wooden pillars are covering steel posts since the second floor was ready to fall down when he came in 1993. Originally built in 1870, this house was a wedding present from the original owner for his daughter in 1885.
